Israel F15s Could Be Engaged In False Flag Ops In Syria:

Israeli F15 warplanes could be engaged in false flag operations in Syria along with other aircraft flying out of Turkey to implicate Russia in war crimes, says Gordon Duff, a senior editor atVeteran Today.

Duff made the remarks in a Tuesday interview with Press TV while commenting on recently surfaced photos of American warplanes disguised in Russian camouflage, which have led to conspiracy theories about a possible false flag operation by the US to make Russia’s war on Daesh look bad in Syria.

Taken by a Canadian journalist, the photographs purport to show F/A-18 fighter jets, painted with blue patterns similar to those employed by the Russian military.

The images were released at a time that Washington and Moscow have reached a stalemate in their negotiations over Syria, giving the perfect ground to conspiracy theorists to weigh in with their extreme scenarios of a looming conflict.

Duff told Press TV that staff at the Veterans Today had failed to find evidence proving that the US is engaged in false flag operations in Syria; however, noting that such operations could be carried out by others.

“We do have reason to believe that others have done the same thing; we believe that either Israeli F15s or other planes being flown out of Turkey have attacked Syria, and have done this in false flag attacks,” said the Ohio-based analyst.

Duff, on the other hand, considered the possibility that recent reports about the US warplanes could be for training purposes.

“Whenever there’s a story like this and a photo like this comes out, it can be an accident; sometimes, it’s not,” he noted.

On September 30, 2015, Russia began air campaign against Daesh Takfiri group and other terrorists upon a request by the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The so-called coalition led by the United States has been conducting airstrikes in Syria since September 2014 without any authorization from Damascus or a UN mandate.

According to UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura, more than 400,000 people have been killed in the conflict in Syria. The UN has stopped its official casualty count in Syria, citing its inability to verify the figures it receives from various sources.

Since March 2011, Syria has been gripped by militancy it blames on some Western states and their regional allies.

Oops .. Is Russia about to gain Turkish Incirlik Airbase for Operations in Syria?

A Turkish political analyst spoke to Sputnik about the Russian-Turkish cooperation in the fight against terrorism after Iran allowed Moscow to use its Hamadan airbase for strikes against Daesh and al-Nusra Front in Syria.incirlik

Cooperation between Russia and Turkey against terrorists in Syria is getting even more important after Iran authorized the use of its Hamadan airfield for Russian strategic bombers in Syria. However, Moscow and Ankara are unlikely to discuss the possibility of using the Incirlik airbase for Russian airstrikes against terrorists in Syria, political analyst Prof. Hasan Ali Karasar said.

The analyst suggested that Ankara will not come up with the initiative.

“Russia already has a strong military presence in the region so it has no need to use Incirlik. Moscow and Ankara are unlikely to discuss the issue,” he told Sputnik.

He also underscored that cooperation between Moscow and Ankara would be crucial for the Syrian settlement.

“The normalization between Moscow and Ankara has opened the way to establish an effective negotiating mechanism. Russia and Turkey would be able to directly share opinions over the Syrian crisis. This cooperation is the key to resolve the crisis,” he said.

He also noted that in the context of the normalization between Moscow and Ankara Turkey will bolster control at the Syrian-Turkish border.”The border is unlikely to be locked down but border control will be increased. Previously, movements across the border were hardly controlled but now the situation is changing. Security measures in the border area are to be taken soon,” Karasar said.

The analyst also commented on Turkey’s further actions in Syria if Russia and the United States join forces against terrorism in the region.

“Taking into account the fact that Moscow and Washington are discussing a joint operation Turkey should focus on the new balance of power forming in Northern Syria. The US should respect Turkey’s national interests in the region. Russia, Iran, the US and the European Union agree that Turkey has interests in the region. As a result, Ankara will adopt a wait-and-see attitude but it will intervene if its national interests are affected,” he concluded.

In a nut shell it is most likely an Israeli thing .. over who will have the the largest control over gas pipelines going into Europe.

But with US Nukes at the Incirlik air base leaves everything up  for grabs and potential Major False Flag

US Nuclear Weapons At Risk of Seizure in Turkey

imgresDozens of US nuclear weapons stored at a Turkish air base near Syria are at risk of being captured by “terrorists or other hostile forces”, a Washington think tank said on Monday.

The US has an estimated 50 nuclear bombs at Incirlik in southern Turkey, 110km from the border with Syria.

The base’s Turkish commander was arrested on suspicion of complicity in last month’s coup plot.

“And hey, it wouldn’t even have to be a coup ultimately commandeering these weapons; it could well be the Turkish government itself!!

With such an improvement in Turkish/Russian relations in the last week, who knows?!? Turkey may well pivot to Russia, declare itself a BRICs nation, and tell NATO to just vanish, permanently.”

“Whether the US could have maintained control of the weapons in the event of a protracted civil conflict in Turkey is an unanswerable question,” said Monday’s report from the Stimson Center, a nonpartisan think tank working to promote peace.

Incirlik is a vital base for the US-led coalition fighting the Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq and Syria, giving drones and warplanes fast access to IS targets.

But the US defence department in March ordered families of US troops and civilian personnel stationed in southern Turkey to leave due to security fears.

“From a security point of view, it’s a roll of the dice to continue to have approximately 50 of America’s nuclear weapons stationed at Incirlik,” report co-author Laicie Heeley said.

“There are significant safeguards in place. But safeguards are just that, they don’t eliminate risk. In the event of a coup, we can’t say for certain that we would have been able to maintain control,” she told AFP.

‘Avoided disaster so far’

The bombs are believed to be kept at Incirlik as a deterrent to Russia and to demonstrate America’s commitment to NATO, the 28-member military alliance that includes Turkey.
The issue has been the subject of renewed debate in the United States since the coup attempt. Continue reading “US Nuclear Weapons At Risk of Seizure in Turkey”
